Welcome to the Nimbin Rocks Co-op (NRC) Wiki.

This Wiki supersedes our old html web page.
Anyone can register but only NRC members will be granted "editor" status.
If you are a NRC member - please contact eddie with your user ID so I can make you an editor.
Registered users can leave comments and use the shout-box.
They can also set "watches" and receive email alerts when pages are changed or comments are added.
Anonymous comments will not be allowed because this has been abused by spammers in the past.
Our public page has been stagnant for many years. So now we have a stagnant wiki instead.
As a group we've had nothing much we've wanted to make public.
There are no shares for sale and we do not sell any goods or services.
I hope that in future we may have more information which will be of interest to others.
NRC is both a registered co-operative and a multiple occupancy (MO).
We have approximately 230 hectares of land which includes Cathedral rock which is part of the "Nimbin Rocks" formation.
There are sixteen shareholdings.
Approximately eight members are living on the property full time at the end of 2007.
Apart from phone lines to several houses and power to the original farm house we are independent of public utilities. Most buildings are solar powered, use tank water and have composting toilets.
Some of our members are actively involved in bush regeneration and land management.
Many are also interested in alternative technology.
